SEO can be very confusing and hard to grasp because of the many complex factors that are involved. I personally know what it's like be confused about what factors of SEO matter the most, so I wanted to create a list of important SEO factors for webmaster to consider when learning how to optimize a website.
Knowing what the factors are, understanding the factors, and knowing how apply important factors of SEO to your website is critical when optimizing a website for organic traffic from; Google, Yahoo, & MSN.
In comparison to most webmasters, I think that I have a slightly different approach because I do not try to use social bookmarks and blogs like a lot of people do and advise others to do. I am not saying that I do not use them at all, and I am not proclaiming that I think they are a bad idea; I just do not focus on that approach of SEO as much as other webmasters seem to do...

Hi Guys & Gals,
We have just started the web directory - http://www.bestonlinedir.com which has both free and featured listing options.
The site http://www.bestonlinedir.com has 17 categories and 482 sub-categories. The directory has been developed from scratch using ASP by ITSYS Solutions (http://www.ITSYSSolutions.com).
I will be upgrading a few selected sites to "Featured" listing. All featured listings are listed on the main category pages with a website thumbnail. Hurry.. this is a limited time period offer. Please feel free to submit your websites to our directory.
TIP: Make sure to chose the right category and sub-category for your listing. This is one of the major reason's of websites getting rejected during submission.

In my previous post i mentioned that with the key words "best time
management" and "time management for students" my site is on first page of
google but i am getting no traffic increase.
I got so helpful replies now my question is that will it be helpful if i pay
google for publishing my ads on different sites? and if yes how much will it
cost to me?

Hi friends:
Recently I changed all my dynamic links to static. I made several changes for a specific link, but now I want google only indexed my last change:
###1: First i do changed dinamic to static:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.perubookstore.com$
RewriteRule ^detallelibro/([^/]+)$ /cgi-bin/perubookstore/store.cgi?action=link&sku=$1 [L]
###2: but then corrected "detallelibro" to "libro" and added new variable:
RewriteRule ^detallelibro/(.*)$ /libro/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteRule ^libro/([^/]+)/?(.*)$ /cgi-bin/perubookstore/store.cgi?action=link&sku=$1&titulo=$2 [L]
Note: all these rules are now in my htaccess.
However, google only indexed:
www.domain.com/libro/idproduct (and sometimes domain.com/detallelibro/idproduct)
but no my last and correct link:
http://domain.com/libro/idproduct/name-of-product
I have included my new sitemap in google but nothing. ...

Please help! My website has been banned! I cannot find it anywhere in Google or even in AltaVista for that matter. Since 3 years now, I have been following all the great advice you give in your newsletter and on your website. I've always been number 3 or 4 on the first SERP of Google, but now I just cannot find my site anywhere! What should I do?
