Nicesonu,

its ok as a concept. But its not something that is really relevant if your battling it out for the only places that matter - that is the top 4 or 5 rankings.

The higher the KEI value the more popular the keywords are and the less emulation they have. So the better chance they can get into the top position. In addition, the KEI factor is not a scientific number. The numbers on which it is based might not be comparable for all keywords.KEI can help you to choose keywords but you should not rely too much on it and it should be the last step when choosing keywords.

HI

KEI (Keyword Effectiveness Index) - KEI is Searches * Searches / Number of results.

According to the KEI definition, the best keywords are those that have many searches and that don't have much competition in the search results.

one more thing is, KEI factor is not a scientific number. The numbers on which it is based might not be comparable for all keywords.

Nice Question Sonu ji,
KEI (Keyword Effectiveness Index) is not scientific number for keywords settings.

According to my knowledge KEI point out which keyword is most effective for your business by comparing number of searches for a keyword with number of search results.

Thus on basis of this we considered that keyword as best for who the number of searches are more and aslo have less competition.

So this is not an Final Results but it just draw our attention to that keyword which migh be proves beneficial to us.

Hi,
I am agreed with the thoughts of bettyem.
Keyword selection is the first and basic process of starting SEO. The whole success of Internet Marketing depends on it, but it is not everything.
Off-course selecting the right keywords is a beneficial step for the site but other factors are also having the same importance.
