HTML coding convention  Reply with quote

Is there any tutorial or document which explains best practice about how to style your html code for a better readability, like Manual :: Coding Standards is for php?

Indenting and Line Length, how to short the line etc.

There are no short cuts. Get a good book from Amazon - it is worth the investment. You can also go into some forums and ask questions if you have a specific problem and need a quick answer.

From your question, I gather, you would like to edit the style of the CODE itself rather than the code of the style of the PAGE.

Well a true programmer/ web designer is recognized by his ability to organise his code. here are a few steps

1. Make use of indented lines
2. Make use of comments.
3. Use appropriate names in accordance to the element and its function. this makes it easier for a person to know what the code is about.
4. Some editors allow you to add colour in order to make it easier to read the coe.
