Your SEO agency and social media efforts need to be intertwined. If your SEO agency has not mentioned anything about social media you need to ask why. From the organic SEO perspective, I do have my doubts. It is time consuming to keep on top of... you don't want to have an inacitive Face Book page or Twitter account!
