I think that is a wonderful incentive. Very original and advertising it on other forums was a good idea.

i dont usually do this sort of thing, but was impressed with the idea and even more impressed with the amount of content. I was expecting to come to a dead forum.

Although, this would really only be an incentive to webmasters, its a good incentive all the same.

its a great idea to promote a new site if you have a high PR

i think the idea could fuel a couple of copy cats but in fairness you should take that as a compliment, EXCELLENT idea there. i mean who cant do with a PR6 link

I agree. I wish other forums would follow suit with idea's like this. Nice to see someone reward the people who help keep their site alive.

Is this a rolling count? I only mention this because it's a new month (and not that I'm complaining with my number one spot :) ) but nothing reset. So I assume that the count never actually resets, it just counts all posts you've made within a 30 day period?

Yes, all posts within the last 30 days, not linked to months in any way.

You could call it a rolling monthly total or RMT.

The only slight issue I'm suspecting with this offer is that it might encourage "me too" type of posts rather than new content. Recently I've noticed that people were responding to introduction posts from a few months earlier.

I do agree with everyone else that this is a great idea as long as the members don't get too hung up about how many posts they've made in the last 30 days.
