Is it more difficult to get affiliate site indexed in Google? If so, what can you do to get it indexed in Google?

Have links from plenty of other high profile sites will get you indexed in Google without any problems at all.

i) It takes about a thousand years to get listed in ODP
ii) Getting IBL pointing to the root of affiliate site/directory alone is probably not good enough. There need to be at least a couple of dozen IBL pointing to various parts of the affiliate site/directory.
Any way to accomplish this effectively?

It's not hard to get an affiliate site crwaled by Google, but it's much harder to get that affiliate site a great ranking since G hates affilaites.
Get lots of links, and if you can fill up the affiliate site with content, that will only help.
