Go to your Account & Site Settings page and make sure that it says "Test Mode On" next to your site listing.

If that doesn't help, double check the permissions steps on the Site Setup Instructions.

You aren't putting something like this:

quote:

<?php

Inside of a PHP file are you?

Okay, I'm not enough of an expert to know if that is legal to do,

I'd recommend taking the 3 code lines inside the <?php ..... ?> and putting only those inside your php. Make sure that it is an appropriate spot, because as these commands are executed their output should be added to the generated HTML.

Here's something else to try, enter the exact path of the 9asdasdasdasdasd.txt text file into your address bar. It may be empty but it should be there. Get the exact name from your Site Setup page.

Ok, I just set this up on one domain(subdomain). I'll set this up on another domain(subdomain) soon. I have a couple of questions:

q1. I see "header" and "footer" in the text link. What's up with this?

q2. It'll be a while before I start seeing actual ads. Is this correct?

q3. Do ads start showing up after my domains are approved?

Edit the PHP code and remove those strings from the DisplayLinks call. You don't need them, they are just an option for adding additional formating thru the API.

You won't see any ads until after your domain is approved, and then you will slowly start to notice them here and there. I didn't see any ads for the first several days, finally I noticed few had been added.

Interesting. I set up this on two subdomains. So far, I'm not seeing anything. Suppose that you have 5,000 pages. Does it take a while for this network to fill out all these spots?

Yep, seems like it will take a while, that's fine with me.

That's means I can get credit for ads that aren't on my site yet. ;)

Slightly-off-topic:

Did you already get credits?

Thanks for the review. I am normally quite weary of things like this (Thats why I didn't join the co-op. But this seems a little less risky.

Coop is getting old. LV makes adjustment to the modern SE so much better.
