Feel like I'm stating the obvious, but once you sign up and starting using LV experimentally, you'll have a much better idea of how it works.

I agree..I just haven't been able to complete the signup because my page is all pulled dynamically from index.php? and I think I need a re-write in place for link vault to validate my site (and see them all as seperate URLs).

I'm pretty sure that LV is designed to see all dynamic pages as separate pages.

I thought it would be too. But when validating my site it tells me that I can't use 'special' charactors in my URLs (it requests 3 URLs that I have placed the code on) and I can't seem to get past that page to have my URL validated :(

You may want to ask about this in their forum. They provide a pretty good service in their forum.

I didn't like link vault, lots of steps to setup, and still haven't seen any results. I will continue to wait..

FWIW, I've dropped LV and won't use it anymore. I think low-key use of it might be safe and have some value, but if you crank up the volume the risk that Google hears you above the noise increases. |

But most of the time the link you get is not upto the mark and relevant to your site. But it passes a good link juice but not benefited for ranking

On your "Account & Site Settings" page you will be able to enter information about the first website that you are going to publish links on. You supply your URL, obviously, along with a Language selection which is nice as it prevents your site getting link ads that you can't even read. Additionally, a Category is selected from a list that corresponds to the high-level categories at DMOZ. The operators have indicated that new more specific categories will become available as the network grows. Finally you select whether your site is going to use PHP or ASP to handle the server-side scripting that will be added to your site.
