MSN seems to just happen naturally when you start a decent campaign, it's a nice early warning system, and can make for decent traffic if you get a term like "money" or "credit cards", etc.

My sites are relatively new (last couple of months) and it seems I get traffic from MSN as soon as they are live. However, I'm not receiving traffic from Google or Yahoo.

Is anyone seeing the same thing?

I had the same experience, with it showing up on MSN first. I guess you just have to wait a few more months or so and see if anything changes.

I have found the logic of MSN SEO as easy to understand as that Google and Yahoo. I'm sure with the resources of microsoft it will continue to grow.

People still use MSN so it is benifitual to have rankings in it, but MSN seems like they are still working out some bugs.

MSN is still an infant in comparison to Google and Yahoo - but believe me, they know they got whooped in search and we all know Billy doesn't like to lose.

I think the true test will be who can port their services to mobile devices the best - and tie in local search, because if you're driving to a city, you want results for that city, not web results...

Every campaign requires balance. Don't focus exclusively on one engine. Remember Jagger.

msn and yahoo seem to look favourably on my music website

which is nice

and as far as im concerned msn or yahoo ( one of them) picks up my actual stats properly, backlinks site pages, etc etc, google seems to be a bit off, whereas the engine i was looking through had ALL my backlinks i was recieving off other sites
