I've only heard good things about Godaddy, and if funds are limited you can start with the affiliate program.

As a reseller you get to set your own prices, and they are well established for both domains and hosting.

well i dunno but there is a lot of places to buy domains and unless your going to undercut godaddy on price it doesnt make too much sense

there is yahoo now in the game, google got a license to do it too, something tells me domain prices are going to fall hard once those too start a war

Yeah, but Google and Yahoo target the unexperienced, so they will keep their prices high. I don't think you'll see Google or Yahoo offering $5.99 domains like at 1and1.

I'll stick with 1and1 which gives free whois protection with their $5.99 domains. Yahoo is offering whois protection for the GREAT price of $9 per year. Surprised

As a Godaddy reseller you can't undercut thier prices, but you can set them at the same price, so if you have a subsciber base or a forum, your network would probably be happy to buy through you with the prices set at minimum.
