I am very new to the seo and links exchange and all that stuff. I have a site to sell cd's for almost a year. The only way I can get anyone to my site is to Pay Per Click and it's costing me I don't want to do that anymore I want to be able to come up on the search engines. Please take it easy with all the terms because someone from oscommerce told me to check out this site to start learning on getting more customers to my site. I need advice or should be HELP I need to know what I'm doing wrong. I don't know if I should do link exchange. I did learn what that by reading here on this site. Or try something else. I also read somewhere that it's not good to link to a site that has nothing to do with what you sell. Don't know if that is correct. But I'm willing to try anything. Thanks in advance |

For starter your description is too long and you are using to many keywords. Do you want your default page to be /store and not domain root? You also don't have any quality link pointing to your site. You have a very long way to go and if you are going to do this yourslf may I suggest spending $80 and get Aaron Wall's SEO book or get a subscription to planet ocean and do some reading. It is going to take you a while to figure this out on the forum, the books have good organized info and will get you down the road much quicker.

store because I can't install the oscommerce software on my root hosting company does not let me but will try again. I will fix the keywords and discription. Question does web seo or ibp work good? Should I start checking link exchanges sites? |

one way is when they link to you but you do not link back, yes there are sever good ones, seoma.net and octopedia.com are very good.

One way can also be done by "three" way linking. You link to domain A when you get backlink from domain B.

Would everyone agree on IBP9 and seoma.net and Octopedia.com as a place to start and are good ? Also How does the 3 Way linking work please explain a little better. Thanks Any other ideas? |
