Wierd thing is going on... i checked my backlinks using www.domain-pop.com and found that msn linked me from PR8 and PR7 page, i visited this sites and i never found this backlink. Later i discovered that all websites in WWW got the same links from the same MSN pages. It seems to me that Microsoft trying to make all websites PR5-6 and kill Google Pagerank system. |

Noticed this myself recently.
All Google has to do is ignore links from MS domains - I think if MS wanted to do this there are other ways to go about it.
Might be MS trying to hurt sites like domain-pop who are obviously using up their bandwidth?

It was the same with my site but when you check the page there is no link there, these do not show up on any other backlink checker, I like http://www.marketleap.com/publnkpop

I noticed same thing for one of my site and thought it’s a bug in domain-pop.com’s tool. When I use a backlink feature of google toolbar I don’t see any back link from MSN.

I saw that too for a few sites. No actual backlink exists in some results to link:....
I don't see how this can affect the rankings on other SE though.

Yeah, domain-pop takes everything from msn because only msn shows all backlinks.

The best thing to do for the BLs is to use the G and MSN themselves. Sometimes the other tools do introduce some red-herrings along the way.

I think it is impossible for someone to ruin Google, anyway if they kill pr Google will come with something new or will do something to prevent it  |
