using articles on my site, good or bad?  Reply with quote

I was thinking of putting some already made articles from an article directory on my site...there would be more indexed pages and maby traffic. So, are they good for anything, does it count like duplicate content? or should i just stay away?

Not the best idea... it might help a little bit and people might find you using search engines but it still... original websites will be always ahead of you.
But, google likes websites with unique content and give them better positions.
By the way... you can be banned from google for copying another websites.

I suggest you write your own articles and do one of two things.

1) Use them on your site. Wait for Google to index the content from your site. Then wait a little more. Then submit the content to other article distribution sites. (isnare is grate)

2) Submit them to other article sites.

Using few articles from articles directory is fine. As long as you are not copying the entire site, you will be ok. Writing your own unique contents is the best way to go.
