How to know that a website is SEO friend  Reply with quote

I have few question:

-How do we know that a website is SEO friendly or not and how to verify?
-Is there any benefit to SEO by making frequently updating your website every day automaticaly?

I expect few points and inputs from all of you.

Title data, header data, clean URLs would be a good high level assessment of the SEO friendliness.

Frequent updates to the site would help but it depends what you are updating. Google is trying to clamp down on the auto blog updates for example.

The internal link structure of the site is another way to assess the SEO-friendliness, for example are all pages linked from another page, or are some orphaned? Basically the greater the degree of interlinking, the more SEO friendly it is (obviously taking into account the other factors justicewhite mentioned)

Rustam,

first thing look at the title tag. If looks like it contains keywords then you're on your way.

I think a gategory for newbies on search engine friendly websites 101 would be benificial. It would allow for a more focused area for newbies to learn about SEO techniques used to help make their websites more search engine friendly.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Well guys SEOforGoogle has 2nd the motion, so I'd say we should consider exactly how we're going to make this happen. I'm sure with a little open brainstorming here on the form we can come up with a viable start.

If you rank well in the serp for all of your key terms, and many variations, this is true of many of my competitors. Some sites just seem more SEO friendly than others.
A good internal link structure and lots on unique pages helps.

First, i would like talk about the black hat, black hat seo, friend or foe, do you have clean answer, your answer is foe, then you can know the seo friend will be interested in white hat seo. Then you can search the answer about what's white hat seo.
