Hi all, I run my first website, and I don't know how to promote it, someone says the yahoo answer tool is a good seo tool, but I don't know how to use it, how to answer other's question with my website link, can anyone tell me?

First thing yahoo question answer is not an an seo tool ..it is a good off page optimization technique..
For running this campaign you need to follow these steps:
1. select some top 10 to 20 question answer site which should allow do follow and should be relevant to your niche.
2. create your account there and try to maintain them natural always put your name in the user name and display name rather than putting keywords.
3. then try to give the answer of different question try to be correct and always prove correct knowledge and most important don't just put your link there. if your website/blog has some relevant then you can refer the link.

I think yahoo answer for getting to solve your query if you have any question put there and you got some reply there, it's not more help full for SEO point of view!!!

This is depends on that particular question and answer website ..if it allow a do follow link then i think it may be beneficial in the case of SEO too.
I used a website which allow do follow link on each answer ..
answerbag.com is an example...

I can see how yahoo answers can help your site get visitors. But not really for SEO in general. e.g. If your site contains the answer to a question and Yahoo answers ranks well in the search engines your going to get a bunch of hits. I might have to give this one a go. I search all the time and I see yahoo answers appearing in other search engines and I visit the answer and click links within the answer.
