Best place to buy a Domain?  Reply with quote

What's the best place to buy a domain at?
Preferably something that isn't going to get suspended! Is there anyway to hide the the website you registered the domain at?

oneandone.co.uk and one.com are not the cheapest but very realiable. And you can de-register your details through them / Nominet.

Best Place to Buy Domain?  Reply with quote

I was just wondering where is the best place to buy domain names and expand your domain name portfolio. At the moment I'm at a place called Total Online Solutions - but I only went their originally through recommendation from a friend - and well these days I'm looking at Yahoo and with them selling their domain names so cheap is their any reason not to go buy domains with them? So I was just wondering what should I be looking for when it comes t obuying domain names and who do you go with?

I've tried different domain registrars and only in godaddy i stick on. For what reason? its because aside from their domain rates are competitive, domains are easy to manage and they have good support. It's just my own opinion... i dunno what others can say about godaddy.

The best place to register a domain is at Moniker.com. They have never lost a domain name due to fraud.

Godaddy has the best domain by proxy service which hides your contact info.

I personally like Dynadot for their simplicity.

There are many places you can buy/sell domains such as sedo.com, namepros, dnforum, digitalpoint forum, noktadomains, afternicdsl, godaddy, ebay... Also you can send some emails to parties that might be interested on your names. If you have good quality names, your chances of selling names would be high, and you never know what others might be looking for.

I'd always recommend 1&1. You can get a free page with your domain purchase.
