How Do I Get .edu and .gov Backlinks?  Reply with quote

While searching on google i found really interesting article on this.
Here it goes...

quote:

First, go to Google and try to do the following search:

For .edu domains

“Your desired keyword” “powered by wordpress” site:.edu

This search will help you find blogs that uses WordPress with a .edu domain.

“Your desired keyword “ “powered by vBulletin” site:.edu

This search will help you find forums that use vBulletin. Alternatively, you can replace the word “vBulletin” with your desired forum management program (Like Xoops, Phpbb, etc.)

For .gov domains

“Your desired keyword” “powered by wordpress” site:.gov

This search will help you find blogs that uses WordPress with a .edu domain.

“Your desired keyword “ “powered by vBulletin” site:.gov

This search will help you find forums that use vBulletin. Alternatively, you can replace the word “vBulletin” with your desired forum management program (Like Xoops, Phpbb, etc.)

That’s about it. Just play with the search terms.

Is it really that easy to get backlinks from these sites?

Interesting approach  Reply with quote

SEO Company,
This is an interesting approach. Do you have any evidence of links being accepted?

This seems too good to be true. It may be worth trying though.

Really appreciated. But the comments are hardly approved by the author. Anyway, thanks for sharing such a brilliant idea.

Yeah, the acceptance ratio must be less but we need to keep searching these kind of sites & post our comments.

Like your way Unique and Effective too coz backlink from such sites are having more weightage than any others. But as rest all says that there is a less chance of success in this and need very professional content for this.

Anyway you have shown a new ray of hope in this matters so thanks a lots for this.

Have a great day.

Edu and Gov  Reply with quote

Getting back link for this kind of Domains is always useful for your website reputation. But most of the Edu and Gov site follows strict rules so while commenting on the post. Stick to genuine and contribute your knowledge so that it will make some sense.
