Hyperlink Optimization  Reply with quote

If I given a link to one keyword to the same page, is that useful or not? In some sites I have seen that keywords hyperlink with same page (there is # used) why?
If hyperlink not useful then bold or strong which one is useful?

Url linking with targeted keywords is very important. Always do the correct linkking for your website. If you are seeing '#' in url , may be there is no targeted Urls available in the website. And bold or strong both are the html tags...i.e. <b> and <strong> and both plays same role to bold the text.

Selection of the appropriate anchor texts can be very important indeed and can even directly affect the way sites are ranked by search engines such as Google, Yahoo plus Bing. It is great to use keywords as clickable spots of the links but provided that link building is done in a natural way and not exact terms are used as anchors for all incoming links online.

There are several keyword suggestion tools to use today and through accessing them, you can find hot terms which are related to your web niche and so, instead of sticking with only short ones which are consisted of one or two words, try to use several longer phrases because they are normally used by net audience who search the web everyday and look for information.

Hypertext or anchor text is the same thing. Hypertext is effective way of give message to read about your product, in this you dont need to give website address, only concentrate on product service and put the hyper link on keywords. Search engine also like the hyper text technique...
